Two owner So California rust free Monte Carlo Custom with MSRP, and 80k miles
This is a very special car in terms of both originality, documentation and prominence. This car was bought new 10/13/71 by So Cal racing legend Andy Porterfield (http://autoweek.com/article/grand-am/andy-porterfield-racing-pioneer-and-scca-champion-dead-80) and was likely a special order because it contained the following custom equipment:
-Belt moldings, special steering wheel, power disc/drum brakes, auxiliary lighting, special sound proofing, sport suspension, 15x 7 wheels, G70 x 15 Tires, and custom wheel covers.
Other options ordered on this car include:
power windows, center console, 4-season air conditioning, automatic level control, positraction rear axle, heavy duty battery, special instrumentation (tachometer, amperage gauge and engine temperature gauge) , and heavy duty radiator.
The condition of the car today is very good. The second owner was (literally) a lady from Leisure World Retirement community who drove it very sparingly since she bought it 3/27/79. It has been repainted once, the air conditioning is not functioning but all parts present, the interior is in good condition except the drivers seat needs to be recovered.
The car runs and drives well, the power windows, lights, signals, horn, and wipers all work properly.
The car is sold along with the original MSRP (window sticker), warranty manual and "proteco-plate, original owners manuals and real clean California "pink slip" title.
Delivery and inspection services are available as is financing with approved credit.
