Real Roadrunner with Air Grabber, Tic-tok tach, Pistol Grip, 8 Track, fresh!
This pristine Roadrunner is the result of a 10 year development that started with a rust free documented car. Every system and component has been restored or updated with a sympathetic eye toward the original concept and also incorporating modern components to enhance performance and reliability. The engine was rebuilt 6k miles ago starting with a 400 block that is stroked to 470 CID, fitted with high performance Indy aluminum race heads, and equipped with an MSD ignition and distributor, exhaust headers, and 5" aluminum exhaust. The engine has been rated at 450 hp on a chassis dynometer. The power train consists of the original (rebuilt) 4 speed pistol grip transmission mated to a "Gear Vendors" over-drive controlled by a button located on the pistol grip. The suspension system has been updated with two way adjustable shocks, custom steel wheels, Wilwood front disc brakes, and custom springs.

The rare optional equipment on this car includes a fully operational "Air Grabber" hood, "Tic-Tok Tachometer (rebuilt original), "Pistol Grip" shift, original AM/FM/8 Track radio, and the original "Beep Beep" horn!
