The modern features this car has are: modern air conditioning system which is fully operational, Edelbrock intake manifold with new carburetor, electronic ignition for easier starting and more economical operation. The Thunderbird was built in 1964 at the Wixom Michigan Assembly plant (also where they built Lincolns) with the following equipment: 390 CID / 300 HP, V8 engine three speed automatic transmission, power steering, power brakes, power windows, power door locks, "swing-a-way steering wheel," special interior lighting package, and seat belts.
The Thunderbird received a comprehensive restoration in 2010 and more recent updates are documented in the receipts accompanying the car.
This Thunderbird presents well with very good paint and chrome quality, the body gaps are good and consistent and no rust is evident.
The 4 place Bird runs and drives as great as it looks with a smooth luxury ride for comfortable cruising and good performance. It is reliable and can easily keep up with today's traffic.
