The Cameo was General Motors first effort to create a luxury and prestige pickup and they did so by incorporating unique features into these low production trucks (5200 in 1955). Sleek fitting fenders made of fiberglass were sourced to create the smooth look chief GM stylist Chuck Jordan was imagining. The interior featured many options that were considered luxuries at the time including dual sun visors, complete door panels and headliner, arms rests, cigarete lighter, large wrap around rear window. This Cameo features a 283 CID V8 with a 4 barrel carburator, 3 speed column shift, overdrive, cherry wood bed finished on both top side and underneath, complete new wiring harness, new glass, rubber, all guages function, seat and seat belts.
