Certified original Tiger in exceptional mechanical and cosmetic condition!

This highly documented car reflects the pride of ownership of it owners in the last 30 years. It has been maintained using oem parts and is almost completely unmodified from stock. The Tiger features the original, matching numbers 260 CID Ford V8 engine mated to a 4 speed "Top loader" Ford manual transmission, front disc brakes, rear drums. This car has these unique Tiger (LAT) options:
Super Induction Kit (Edlebrock F4B intake and Holley 4 barrel)
Engine Dress Up Kit
Traction Master Kit
Hi performance cam, solid lifters, high performance valve springs, dual point distributor
7000 RPM Tachometer
Low restriction exhaust manifolds
Hi-performance, low restriction 2" exhaust
3/4" rear sway bar
7/8" front sway bar
(You can learn more about Tiger LAT optional equipment at: http://www.tigersunited.com/resources/parts_service/lat.asp)

The entire car has been meticulously maintained and features a renewed wood dash board with all gauges operational, operating heat and ventilation system, and direct and tight steering. The paint and chrome are in top quality condition as is the interior and carpeting. The Tiger comes with the factory provided fiberglass hardtop (black) as well as a new black soft top (never been used). Additionally the car is equipped with a well fitted tonneau cover that is very easy to use and practical.
This car is one of the most enjoyable cars I have driven in a long time, the engine and drive train are extremely responsive and smooth operating, the braking and handling are able to keep up with this quick rocket. Here is a video test drive:

The Tiger comes with a Certificate of Authenticity, is listed in the Sunbeam Tiger Registry (www.roots1.com), and a clean California title. Additionally Dave Williams of Auto Appraisal Network inspected the car and said:

"It was good seeing you yesterday, that is a Phenomenal MkI
The attached photo shows 2 stamps, one larger than the other the larger being 18R which is not the starting format for the expected date code and a smaller stamping that could be 4C or 4G which is the expected format for the date code.
So the date code could be either 4C18R or 4G18R not really clear since the last 3 are stamped over the top of one another and the lower half of the number are off the pad.
So let's look at what we know. B9471479 would have been built 6/64 – 11/64 date range or roughly 2nd week of October, the engine date code should start with 4 for 1964 with a month code prior to K
If the date code is 4C18R = March 1964 or 4G18R July 1964, both would be acceptable date codes for an engine that went into a car built in October 1964.
So while the date code isn't as clear and distinct as it could be, it is an acceptable date code for an Original 260 V8 engine for this car.
This combined with the number on the valve cover the owner has, may resolve the engines originality. (Note by seller: the original valve covers with the correct engine number come with the Tiger).
