The engine was professionally overhauled approximately 10 years/ 700 miles ago according to the consignor. The engine starts very easily and runs smoothly, it supplies a surprisingly amount of torque that allows the car to be driven at normal traffic speeds.
This Airstream is noteworthy because it is in original configuration and unchanged over its 85 year life.
