Like new condition rust free S Cal truck
This 1975 Ford Courier was acquired from its original owner in Southern California several years ago and recently acquired by the consignor from on online auction. Work has since included a repaint in green, a reupholstered black vinyl bench seat, replacement tires, and a tune-up. Power is supplied by a 1.8L inline-four mated to a four-speed manual transmission, and the truck is equipped with a cassette radio, and aftermarket alloy wheels. This Courier is now offered with factory literature, blue California license plates, and a clean California title.
The Courier was manufactured by Mazda and could be distinguished from the B-Series trucks by its front grille, single headlights, and specific badging. This example was reportedly repainted its current shade of green last year and features a six-foot bed with tie-downs, a sliding rear window, and a chrome front bumper.
The bench seat has been re-upholstered in pleated black vinyl, and the cabin features a matching dash pad, carpets, and door panels, along with body-colored steel surfaces. A Kraco AM/FM/cassette head unit occupies the factory radio position.
No Reserve: 1975 Ford Courier
A two-spoke steering wheel fronts a 100-mph speedometer and a combination gauge with insets for fuel level, coolant temperature, and amperage, along with an oil-pressure warning light. The five-digit odometer shows approximately 95k miles, less than 200 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 1,800cc inline-four was rated at 74 horsepower and 92 lb-ft of torque when new. A tune-up is said to have been performed by the selling dealer.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a floor-shifted four-speed manual transmission.
The appeal of trucks from this period are their simplicity and reliability.
The Ford Courier is titled in California, is exempt from smog certification and has a clean title.
