This 1968 Chevrolet Corvette coupe was first delivered to Village Chevrolet of Wayzata, Minnesota It is powered by a 427ci V8 mated to a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear end and equipped with removable roof panels, 15″ Rally-style wheels, Wilwood four-wheel disc brakes, three two-barrel carburetors, pop-up headlights, power steering, a telescoping steering column, and a retro-style head unit. The body was refinished in metallic orange and additional work included rebuilding the carburetors, recoring the radiator, installing Hooker headers and Flowmaster exhaust system, and replacing the clutch, bushings, weather stripping, idler pulley, alternator, spark plugs, thermostat, belts, valve cover gaskets, and water pump. This C3 Corvette is now offered with an NCRS Shipping Data Report, service records, and a California title.

The body was finished from the factory in Corvette Bronze Metallic (992) and refinished , and re-chroming the rear bumper. Exterior details include removable roof panels, retractable headlights, chrome bumpers, dual side mirrors, side vents, and dual exhaust outlets.
Rally-style 15″ steel wheels wear bright trim rings with hubcaps and are mounted with F70-15 Firestone redline tires. The car is equipped with power steering and braking is handled by red-finished Wilwood four-wheel discs.
The interior is equipped with bucket seats trimmed in black with a color-coordinating dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes power steering, hand-crank side windows, a heater and defroster, and a retro-style head unit.
A woodgrain-rimmed steering wheel is mounted to a telescopic column and frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a centrally-mounted analog clock and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 72k miles and does not work. True mileage is unknown.
The 427ci V8 features three Holley two-barrel carburetors. Work under current ownership included rebuilding the carburetors, recoring the radiator, installing Hooker exhaust headers and a Flowmaster exhaust, and replacing the idler pulley, alternator, spark plugs, thermostat, belts, valve cover gaskets, and water pump. The headers were modified to accommodate the steering arm. Component stamping and casting numbers are shown in the gallery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction limited-slip differential. The transmission was rebuilt and the clutch was replaced in 2024.
The NCRS Shipping Data report shows initial delivery to Village Chevrolet of Wayzata, Minnesota, and an official production date of February 1, 1968.
